George Matthews is a filmmaker and artist born in Denver, Colorado. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2009, dropped out of high school in 2011, and now holds a commercial/residential HVAC installation and repair license from Emily Griffith Technical College.

Matthews currently resides in New York. His debut short, Low Tide: A Newly Restored Work by Thomas Wright, was completed in 2022. A follow up, Low Tide DLC was released later that year. His third film, 491, VA is forthcoming, and scheduled to release in early 2024.
